Recently, Pittsburgh hip-hop music has been put on the map from the constant and consistent success of Wiz Khalifa and the emergence of rising young rap star Mac Miller. There efforts have placed Pittsburgh in an ideal location for rap music and rising rap artists. With these emcees paving the way for new talent, you can bet that there will plenty of rappers chasing the spotlight to complete Pittsburgh’s trifecta of successful rap artists. With that being said, I would like to introduce Devin Miles. Amassing over 30,000 downloads within the first three weeks of its release on April 15, 2011 the EP has been very successful. His debut video for "Spaced Out" which was shot and directed by Mac Miller's acclaimed videographer Rex Arrow also reached 20,000 views in two weeks before it was taken down by Youtube.
