Saints Don't Sleep return to the Jamm after a busy festive period of hosting parties with Flux, Regulate and Magna Carta. On Friday 24th January, the SDS crew will once again take over Brixton Jamm with Andrès, Eddie C, No Fakin and The Nixwax family all on hand to help shake off the post Christmas blues.
Heading up the bill DJ Dez, AKA Dez Andrés, AKA Andrés needs no introduction. The Detroit native and former Slum Village tour DJ has developed into one of the most revered DJs and producers in the world. His peerless CV has seen him work with legendary artists such as J Dilla and Moodymann, and release a number of critically acclaimed LPs and singles including what was undoubtedly one of 2012’s biggest records ‘New For U’. It is a huge honour to have such an exceptionally talented artist play for us and we are incredibly excited to hear him take us on a kaleidoscopic trip through House, Hip-Hop and Soul.

Next up is Eddie C who could well be described as one of the funkiest men in electronic music. Armed with a formidable multi-genre record collection and his own productions which range from Slo Mo, to well-known edits and straight up disco - he is certainly one of the scene's heaviest hitters. His style draws many similarities to hip-hop culture through a comparative use of sampling, vinyl’s and edit culture. Expect hands in the air and smiles on the dance-floor as Eddie C’s sets are characterised by cosmic sounds and deep, lush and beautiful grooves.

Completing the bill for Room 1 in fine style are the supremely-gifted No Fakin’ DJs. Hailing from Liverpool the collective featuring Kwinzola (Friends & Family), Fredo (6ix Toys: Tru Thoughts), DJ Illson (Fat City) and extended family member Peter Parker (Fingathing) can be seen using 4 Turntables, samplers, drum machines and other gadgets to rock dancefloors across Europe. Master Selectors in the truest sense, No Fakin DJs are famed for playing mesmerising sets and with residencies at Chibuku in Liverpool and the Garden Festival in Croatia as well as regular appearances at Fabric in London it is a real treat to have them grace the Jamm.

After missing the last Saints Don't Sleep, the Nixfam are back to bring their deep delicious grooves to the Jamm. Be sure not to miss Nixwax Co - Founders Rob Amboule, Alec Function and Hunter Giles who have plenty of new Nixwax material for those tasty Funktion Ones since their last appearance.

West London's favourite twins The Menendez Brothers, as always, will be dropping party bangers in all different shape and sizes as will the ever dependable Alex Crescent. Joining us for the first time since his Noisily Festival appearance will be the ever dependable Bolts - Expect soulful grooves, Disco bangers and exquisite hip hop.
