[NIGHTLIFE] FLUX 3RD BIRTHDAY -- LONDON EDITION

Flux 3rd Birthday - London Edition
check out full event infos below

Three fun-filled years have flown by since we started out with a small RAG charity fundraiser party in the basement of Wire Club in Leeds. A lot has happened in that time and Flux has grown and developed to be something more than we had ever anticipated. On February 21st we will be going back to our roots and throwing a celebratory party at Brixton’s newest intimate venue, the fantastic 320 capacity AIRspace, with all profits going to charity. Joining us from Germany will be Stuttgart’s finest, Common Sense People, made up of Konstantin Sibold, Leif Muller and Felix Becker.

Our anniversary seems like an appropriate time to revert to our origins and give something back. All proceeds will go to a cause that is very close to the Flux team as a whole, the Raj K Soni Legacy Fund, a charity that supports young people through initiatives related to sport and music. For further information about the charity, its history and its work, please visit www.rajksoni.org.uk

Konstantin Sibold is a Stuttgart-based DJ, producer, mastering engineer and cofounder of the Common Sense People event series, which takes places at legendary club Rocker 33. After successful early releases on Caramelo and Snork, Konstantin caught the attention of Dixon & Âme, which led to his breakthrough release "Madeleine" on their Innervisions imprint, catapulting him to international notoriety. This was followed by the "Aristoteles" release on also Berlin based Mojuba and then later in 2013 by his remix of Jazzanova "I Can See" on Objekivity, garnering further widespread acclaim. Since Flux gave Konstantin his UK debut in Christmas 2012 he has become one of the most watched producers in Europe, and his rapid rise to prominence seems set to continue. After seeing what he did to the Flux boat at Dimensions Festival last Summer, we are very excited for another opportunity to see him in such an intimate setting.

Leif Muller is the other co-founder of Common Sense People. He, along with fellow resident Felix Becker, has developed quite a reputation as a cultured DJ in his native Stuttgart. With a slew of deft remixes and original productions to his name, Leif has recently had material released on Get Physical, and is exploring new projects with up-and-coming vocalist Jenny Plant. We look forward to welcoming both Leif and Felix for their UK debuts. Common Sense People has been running at Rocker 33 in Stuttgart since 2011, and has become a stalwart of the local scene, bringing in legendary DJs from DJ Koze, Levon Vincent and Shed to Soundstream, Roman Flügel and Gerd Janson. We look forward to welcoming them to London.
