Video footage of the momentous send-off for Logan Sama’s #KissGrime show is now online, capturing the camaraderie between MCs as they showed their support for the veteran Grime DJ with their hardest bars.
After announcing his departure from Kiss FM after ten years on the station, the Grime scene united as one from across the UK for Logan’s final show. Taking place at Birthdays in Dalston, the hour show consisted of two sets – the first of which is available to watch now – with well over 30 artists taking the mic in a broadcast that saw the #KissGrime hashtag trend in the UK for several hours.
Many of those in attendance received their first commercial radio plays or guest appearances from Logan’s long-running show, which was a cornerstone of the Grime scene and helped future chart-toppers such as Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah and Tinchy Stryder on their paths to success!
