1) Tell us a bit about the Paris Project that has been blasted about at the minute, and why is it called Paris?
"The Paris EP came about through some of the songwriting I had been doing over in Paris a while back. I had a bunch of material that had this common thread, and so when I got the Idea for the Paris single and I started to put together the sounds and textures. Parisian people love to party and their relationships with each other are intense, so the lead single had to reflect this. The Paris Project is my 2nd Solo EP and is a great prequel to the years content."
2) What is your favourite place in Paris and why?
"Montmatre is probably my favourite place in Paris, I stay up there when I have my shows and writing sessions in Paris. It has amazing places for people watching, is beautiful at sunrise and is steeped in art/writers history. I would happily live there."
3) So we are all up to date on the Paris Project, could you tell me a bit more about yourself, who is Jack Shaw?
"Im a supercharged Geordie with an addiction to music. I have to make things, otherwise my brain gets overloaded. Some people have said i'm like Ed sheeran's naughty brother. I make music you can get drunk and wig out too!"
4) Whats next for you and where can people keep up to date and in touch with your movements?
"I'm playing a show in paris on the 10th May at Culture Rapide. Its free entry so head down. I also have my Paris Music Video Launching on 28th April. Im proper gassed to be pushing forward this year. Plenty music, plenty parties and Im looking forward to everybody joining me on this ride!"
