[UK] KYRA - 'ELL OH VEE EEH'

Kyra - New Single - 'Ell Oh Vee Eeh'
Released: 30th November 2014
Taken From the 'Bandages EP' coming soon...

West London based singer-songwriter Kyra returns with new track 'Ell Oh Vee Eeh', taken from her highly anticipated debut 4 track EP 'Bandages'. Ell Oh Vee Eeh is a funky, feel good track with a throwback sound inspired by her Dad's music collection of 80's Rare Groove and Soul.

Kyra
burst onto the scene in the Summer of 2012 with her incredible debut track entitled 'Good Love' after starting work with Renowned Music Management (Wretch 32, Jacob Banks). It was hailed as the Summer anthem of 2012 by the likes of Choice Fm's Kojo and 1Xtra's CJ Beatz, as well as receiving 'Best Of British' by 1Xtra's Twin B and gaining support from DJ's such as Radio 1's Target, Ronnie Herel, Ace and Vis, Nick Bright, Max, Jenny Francis and more. Round the clock rotation on TV stations such as MTV Base and BET 106 & Park were also testament to its success.

Kyra went on to have a stomping year with notable live performances; she opened up for the likes of Ed Sheeran, Labrinth, Rita Ora and supported Wretch 32 on his nationwide tour.

However, in the same year as these successes, Kyra faced a personal tragedy, losing her brother, who had just turned 26, to cancer. The time from diagnosis to death was just 3 months. Out of this time of sadness Kyra vented in the way she knew best, through songwriting and the 'Bandages EP' was born.

After much needed time out to reflect, Kyra is back with her infectious new track 'Ell Oh Vee Eeh', which will leave you singing along to it's irresistible hook and wishing you could relive Summer all over again. We must say this is a stunning accompanying music video and it will be available as a free download.
