Stylo G Makes his Mark

To date, there has been many successful dancehall artists - Sean Paul, Mavado, Vybz Kartel - however, we had yet to see a successful british dancehall artist- until Stylo G. Born in jamaica and raised in London, Stylo G (real name Jason McDermott) had already made quite an impact on the underground scene, his most popular tracks being 'Call Mi A Yardie', 'Swagga Dem' and 'Number 1' with Mavado.
Recently, Stylo's been working with Dre Skull (a successful producer whose worked with Snoop, Beenie Man, Lil Wayne and Eminem) and Basement Jaxx at their request as well as managing to get himself on the line for some of UK's biggest musical events including Glastonbury, Wireless and Tramlines Sheffield Festivals. Signed to 3 Beat/ Universal records, Stylo G has recently realeased his smash new single 'Soundbwoy' with major support from the likes of DJ's Sara Cox, Mistajam, Zane Lowe, Toddla T and Rob Da Bank.
